About Us

ANNALISE
Hello! My name is Annalise. I am blessed with two younger siblings, one older brother, and five older sisters, who act more like "mothers". Yes, I have to bear with being told what to do all the time; but amidst all the mothering, I know they all love me to pieces. I have proof of it through all the love they put into making my thirteenth birthday one of the best birthdays I have ever had.
I turned thirteen on January 7th. I am the "seventh" in the family. I guess you could say that it's a coincidence that I am also finishing up "seventh" grade at the end of this school term.
I have been blessed in so many ways: with Trinity Bible Church and the teaching there, with eight siblings and parents that love me.
Now that summer is almost upon us, I have many vacations to look forward to.
1. Camping up at Mount Rainier. We don't do it in campers, but in tents. I am blessed with parents that can do those kinds of things with us.
2. I look forward to our Church Family Camp. Each family has a designated Cabin, and we have meals together. In the Mornings and Evenings we have a message taught. The afternoons are full of activities like swimming, volley ball, and Ultimate Frisbee. Then in the Evenings after the message and after dishes are finished, those who are on cleanup crew go out and play in the gym outside. When it's all over, you feel like you've gotten to know everyone well and now you have to go back to normal lives.
3. Going to the beach is a family highlight. I have always enjoyed going to the beach. This past year, was extra special. We got to stay ten days and had a wonderful time. One of my favorite things to do there is to sit around the cabin with Kevin Kern music playing in the back round, and playing a game of Balderdash or Catchphrase. I have built special memories there. This last year, daddy took me out on a walk and we got a smoothie. We sat on a bench near the beach and talked a little. That was so much fun, and we hopefully will get to do it this year again.
Another thing I look forward to is Thursday Nights. It has been established as Family Night. We usually watch a movie. It's special being able to break the "going to bed early" rule and be able to stay up till 12:00 A.M. That is a real break in the rule.
Friday nights is a time when Mom and Dad go out on a date and we kids are left to mess up the house and clean it all up before the parents come home (and act as if nothing happened:) We are not that bad, except for sometimes. You can never know with Spaffords, what they might do next.
Well, that is an overview of my life. I have had a wonderful growing up, one that some children my age have never known. I am so grateful for all my growing up years. Now you will be able to type in a-teamtrouble.blogspot.com and read what the three of us have learned in our years of schooling.
One thing I know, is I am proud to be a Spafford!

AUSTIN
Hi,
I am a young boy named Austin, 11 years of age. I was born on May 1, 2004. I live on a small farm. We have 3 ducks, 1 goose, 25 hens, 1 rooster, 1 dog, 1 cat, and 1 nice-sized garden. I like to call our farm Chestnut Lane, though, I don't know why. For one thing, we don't grow chestnuts, and for another thing, it doesn't really fit. But I think that it's cute.  We Plant everything, from strawberries, raspberries, and Blueberries, to asparagus, leeks, potatoes, tomatoes, and peppers. I can't name everything though. In fact, that is only about an eighth of our garden. I do most of the planting.
I have a couple of hobbies. 1: Farming 2: Cello. I think that cello is going well. I play in an ensemble group.
I am the only boy in our class of three, (Boy:Girl ratio 1:2). We are Home-schooled. Our smart and wonderful teachers decided to make a blog for our school assignments.
This past year (2014) I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I got baptized on February 8, 2015. I think it is important for me because I know that when I die I will go to Heaven to be with my Savior who died for me to wash away my sin and give me His Righteousness.
Well, that's my life in a nutshell.
